V8 Thunder is proud to announce the schedule and format for NR2003 Mini-Season II.
In a change to last year's format, we will be having double-header races on each evening at two different tracks. There will be no qualifying, grids will be random as race one will be practice - race and then race two will be happy hour - race. We'll be using a modified version of the Bullring 2010 Sprint Cup series mod, with .cts physics. The setups will be fixed (lites series setups) and this should level the playing field, as everyone will have the same stuff. Yellows will be OFF, there will be no analysis (unless there are issues detrimental to the sport of stock car racing - this is not a license to wreck) so whatever happens on the track, stays on the track. Damage will also be OFF - if you start the race, you should be able to finish it! There are some real drivers tracks on this schedule, as well as some easier ones which should allow great racing action we can all enjoy.
1st Prize - The MiniSeason Champion will be allowed to select the final track for inclusion on the Summer 2010 Trophy Series schedule. Nascar Board Members will once again select the tracks for the schedule as before, but the Champion will get a pick even if he has already picked! Sign up for the MiniSeason to compete for the chance to include your favourite track on the schedule.
Setups - Fixed (Lites setups) Driving aids - Off Yellows - Off Damage - Off Pit frequency - x2 Race Distance - 20% Qualifying - Off
